Editorial Standards and Content Transparency

Effective 31 July 2026

Ichinen Academy publishes educational analysis about decisions under uncertainty. Our purpose is to help readers improve the process of choosing—not to manufacture a universal answer or replace qualified professional advice.

1. Editorial responsibility

Yu Jiang, founder of Ichinen Academy and a former UK educator in Operations Research, is the named author and editorially responsible person for site articles. Each long-form article displays its author and publication date. Responsibility for accuracy, framing, and corrections remains with the named author even when digital tools assist the workflow.

2. What makes an article worth publishing

We publish when a page offers a useful decision model, a worked example, a meaningful distinction, or a practical question that helps a reader think more clearly. We do not publish pages merely to target a search term, repeat another page, or create advertising inventory.

Short “Spark” stories are a separate reflective format. They remain available to regular readers but are excluded from search inventory until expanded into sufficiently self-contained resources.

3. Evidence, interpretation, and uncertainty

4. Use of AI and other digital tools

AI tools may assist with organizing research notes, outlining, translation, language editing, or producing a short page summary. They are not treated as an author or a source of authority. The named author remains responsible for the final argument, examples, wording, and any correction. We do not publish an automatically generated page for the purpose of gaining search traffic or displaying advertisements.

5. High-impact topics

Articles may discuss health, mental health, finance, education, employment, or family decisions. These pages provide general educational frameworks only. They do not create a professional-client relationship and do not replace medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other qualified advice. Readers should seek an appropriate professional where individual circumstances, safety, or legal duties matter.

6. Corrections and updates

If a material factual or contextual problem is identified, we review the supporting information and correct the page where appropriate. Editorial feedback can be sent through the “一念学堂” WeChat Official Account; please include the page URL, the disputed passage, and supporting evidence. Substantive corrections should be made transparently rather than silently preserving a known error.

7. Advertising separation

Advertising must not determine our conclusions. We do not place display advertising on navigation, legal, interactive-game, or short-story pages. Long-form pages can become advertising-eligible only after an explicit editorial eligibility decision. Ads must be visibly distinguishable from publisher content and must not obstruct navigation or interaction.

8. Translations

Chinese and English editions communicate the same core analysis but may be adapted for readability and context. A translation is not presented as a separate independent investigation. Language alternates are linked so readers and search systems can identify the relationship.
